Using the service

FranchiseKosh is an online directory where people can learn about franchise and business opportunities in India and send enquiries to the brands, and where brands can manage a listing. By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

We are an intermediary

We display information supplied by brands and compiled from public sources. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a brand, we do not endorse any brand, and we do not guarantee that any franchise will be profitable. See the Disclaimer.

If you send an enquiry

• Give accurate details and only your own contact information.
• You agree that your details are shared with the brand you enquire about.
• Do not use the form to send spam, advertising or abusive content.

If you manage a brand listing

• You must be authorised to act for the brand when you submit or claim a listing.
• Information you publish must be accurate and not misleading, including investment, fees and returns, and must not infringe anyone's rights.
• Enquiry details are personal data of investors. Use them only to respond to the enquiry, and follow applicable data protection law.
• We may edit, hide or remove a listing, reject a claim, or suspend access if these terms are broken or information is found to be inaccurate.
• Paid plans are described at the time of purchase; fees are in Indian rupees plus applicable taxes.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the site at scale without permission, attempt to break or overload it, access accounts that are not yours, or use it for anything unlawful.

Content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of what you submit and give us a licence to display and distribute it on the service. The site's design, software and compilation of listings belong to us or our licensors.

Limits on our responsibility

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make based on information on the site, or for the acts or omissions of brands. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [city of registered office] have jurisdiction, subject to any non-excludable rights you have.
